Architecture is all around us. It is above and below, left and right, inside and outside. All buildings make some sort of impact on us, from the beauty of Notre Dame to the bluntness of Boston City Hall. It is because of these buildings and the memories they carry that architecture is able to emotionally impact us the way it does. For this project, my goal was to utilize the unique features of notable buildings to show how architecture can move ordinary people. I was heavily inspired by the work of Shamekh Bluwi, an architect and fashion illustrator who creates paper cutouts of people and allows the beauty of the world around him to fill in their clothes, thus making architecture a central part of their being.
