amendment project

For this project, each student was assigned a different amendment of the United States Constitution to create four separate design pieces of: text-based, image-based, a combination of the two, and a collage of the previous three. I was given the First Amendment, which protects freedom of speech. With the color palette only allowing black, white, and one other color, I chose red because it is loud and dynamic, just like the First Amendment. My goal was to create visual representations of exactly what the First Amendment represents to the American people. It serves as a reminder of how every citizen has the right to speak their mind, no matter what they have to say or with whom might disagree.
